  3.          This program "fixes" a BUG in OPUS-CBCS v1.03a.
  4.  
  5.          FIXDATE.COM is an official patch program from the Not Ready
  6.          For Mainframe Players; Dallas and elsewhere.

  9. INSTRUCTIONS:

  11.          1. Make a backup copy of OPUS.EXE.
  12.          2. Set the default drive to the subdirectory containing OPUS.EXE.
  13.          3. Type FIXDATE and press the RETURN key.
  14.

  16. BACKGROUND:
  17.  
  18.          An error in the time calculation can cause the event manager
  19.          in OPUS-CBCS v1.03a to fail between 3/1/88 and 3/1/94.
  20.  
  21.          Using a particularly slimy method, FIXDATE.COM makes OPUS-CBCS
  22.          v1.03a do its event manager date calculations differently.
  23.  
  24.          After running the program, OPUS-CBCS will identify itself
  25.          as version "1.03b".

  30.          This program is guaranteed to take up space on your disk for
  31.          the length of time you keep it on the disk.  There are no
  32.          other guaranties or warranties.  FIXDATE may or may not actually
  33.          improve the behavior of OPUS, and it may have harmful side-effects.

  35.          own risk.
